Looks like fun! My oldest was quite upset with us for not setting off our fireworks. We were cautioned w/in an inch of our lives here in SJC but honestly, I was more concerned about the grouchy, nosy neighbors calling the authorities than I was the fire hazard. ;-)
We heard such conflicting reports about a Duval ban; in the end it seemed the surrounding counties had it and we didn't. R's neighbor was shooting off what seemed like a tent-load though, even mortars! So we relented with some midnight sparklers from Publix :-)
I believe you're right ~ I don't think Duval had one or one as severe as other counties. We debated taking ours (dh & the boys bought a big pack in TN back in October just for NYE) to one of the grand's houses but decided against it. I know what you mean about neighbor's setting them off. A neighbor down the street from us rivaled downtown's show this past 4th. They sounded like bombs going off when he launched them. Sparklers from Publix are definitely more my cuppa.
